Curt Ensign is founder and president of New West Home. Ensign has devoted over 25 years to the Southern California homebuilding industry and continues to prove his success by focusing on sound acquisition strategies, coupled with a commitment to quality in the construction of every new home.
New West Home evolved several years after the forming of New West Properties Development Company, Inc., an acquisition and residential land development firm founded in 1996. Under Mr. Ensign's direction, in the company's first four years, it successfully acquired over 6,500 residential lots, the majority of which were subsequently sold to homebuilders for new construction. Building upon this success, Ensign expanded the company's operations, forming New West Home in 2000.
New West Home focuses its acquisition strategies on quality properties characterized by strong market demand. Over the company's first ten years, New West Home has constructed more than 1,000 new homes in over a half dozen municipalities.
Before launching a decade of successful homebuilding and development activities throughout Southern California, Ensign developed his skills with The Irvine Company, working primarily in the field of residential development, and later managed the operating divisions of three medium to large homebuilding companies in Southern California.
Ensign attended Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College and earned a Masters in Business Administration.
